Who can participate
Unvaccinated individuals who are 12 years of age or older and either have a history of serious allergic reaction, have a mast cell disorder, or have a history of no severe allergies.
Healthy Volunteers
Healthy volunteers are eligible for this study
To be a healthy volunteer for this study you must have:

You have already recieved a Covid-19 Vaccine OR You are pregnant, OR You are under 12 years old
What you may be asked to do
Participation could be as short as 29 days or as long as 64 days. If you join the study, you will complete 2 to 4 clinic visits and have 3 to 4 phone calls over a period of 29 to 64 days, depending on which vaccine you receive and whether you get the additional placebo dose. You will receive either the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Each vaccine requires two doses. If you don’t have a reaction to the first vaccine dose, you will receive the second vaccine dose. Some subjects may also receive a dose of placebo (salt water). You will receive three shots total, if you receive a placebo shot.

- Blood draw
- Office visit
- Personal health tracking
- Injection or IV
Estimated Time Commitment
3 visits over 2 months
What You May Get
Participants will recieve $25 for the pre-screening phone call, $100 for each study visit, and $15 for each planned study call. Therefore, they will recieve $270 or $385 for completing the study; depending on their study treatment.

Study Phase
Phase 2: This project studies whether a medication or treatment works for people with a specific disease or condition. The drug or treatment has been studied for safety in healthy volunteers, but the project will continue to look at safety and short term side effects.
