What we are studying

We are doing this research study to find out how inflammation changes during menopause. The research study will compare changes in inflammation before, during, and after menopause.

Why it is important

Understanding links between inflammation and menopause may help us identify ways to preserve the health of the heart in women.

What we hope to accomplish

We plan to measure changes in inflammation in the blood over one year in women during menopause.
