High Blood Pressure Study at MGH (Charlestown Navy Yard)

What we are studying

Scientists at Massachusetts General Hospital are recruiting men and women to participate in a research study to examine the effects of non-invasive Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation on the regulation of heart rate and blood pressure of patients with high blood pressure.

The information learned from this study may help us in future research on the treatment of hypertension.

The study includes 8 visits which are comprised of one evaluation and screening period, 5 stimulation sessions, 2 follow-up sessions, and questionnaires.

Eligible participants will receive up to $425 for completing the study.
