Volunteers with schizophrenia aged 18-45 needed for napping research study
This project is not recruiting.
Overview
What we are studying
We're interested in seeing whether zolpidem helps sleep and memory in healthy people and in those with schizophrenia. This study involves taking a nap after lunch while we take non-invasive recordings of your brain activity using EEG and magnetoencephalography (MEG).
Why it is important
Our findings will guide the development of treatments for sleep that will improve day-to-day function and quality of life.
What we hope to accomplish
We hope to understand whether altering brain activity during sleep can improve learning and memory.
